Tripura Containers Pvt. Ltd. was established in the year of 2002, and manufactures barrels of 210 liters and 225 liters for packaging and safe transportation of liquid, powder and solids.
We commissioned our rst barrels plant In Odhav and now we shifted the plant in Viramgam G.I.D.C. area near Tata’s Nano plant which is covered by a big area spreading over 12000 sq. yards, on which we have most modern machines and our production capacity reached to 25000 to 30000 barrels per month.
We cater to the packaging needs of chemicals, catalysts, pesticides, food, oil, bulk drugs, pharmaceuticals for the small & large scale industries. We also manufacture special barrels for radio active waste for nuclear plant. We also manufacture special Goose-neck barrels, Mig welded barrels and Bitumen drum conforming to I.S. standard 1783 (Part-1 and Part-2). We adhere and follow stringent quality control process right from the incoming raw material to the nished goods.
Each and every drum is individually marked for identification and traceability. Certied for sea and road transportation of dangerous and hazardous chemicals, the drum conforms to BIS standards and UN certication for packing of dangerous goods.
A fully equipped laboratory with modern testing facilities is in place. Routine quality control tests are carried to check the quality of steel, 100% air leakage tests are done online, drop tests, Hydrostatic pressure tests, and Pneumatic pressure tests are all done to ensure zero-defect products. Tests for quality of paint, baking, adhesion, screen printing quality etc. are also carried out. Drums are tested to stringent quality norms parallel to BIS standards.
